Nitya is a Certified Yoga Instructor with a certification from SVYASA Yoga University, Bangalore. She is also a Level 1 Instructor, certified by the Yoga Certification Broad, India. Asiding from teaching yoga classes, Nitya writes yoga blogs, fictional stories, and poems. Her first full length novel is slated to be published by Rupa Publication, late next year.

She lives in Bangalore with her husband, son, and two fabulous dogs.
